Official explanation
Resolution 25-135 proposes adjusting the time frames for Council action on land use ordinances and General Plan revisions to be consistent with the deadlines for review by a planning commission. The amendment also would require that the planning director schedule a public hearing for any Council-initiated revisions to the general plan or land use ordinance within 60 days of Council’s transmittal to the Planning Department.
