Should the Charter be amended to increase the annual appropriation for costs related to operation, maintenance, and management of lands that were acquired using the Clean Water and Natural Lands Fund, from 5% of the moneys that were deposited into the Fund in the previous year, to 10%?

Official explanation

Present situation: Currently, the Charter limits the amount of the Clean Water and Natural Lands Fund that can be used for operation, maintenance, and management of lands acquired by the Fund to 5% of the moneys deposited in the previous year. If proposal passes: The amount of moneys that may be used for operation, maintenance, and management of lands acquired by the Clean Water and Natural Lands Fund will be 10% of the moneys deposited in the previous year.
